Sun Valley Floral's 24th Annual Open House and Floral Design Show held on Sunday, July 24th was another huge success. It was blessed with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures and this year's event was well attended by visitors from all over the United States. Tours of Sun Valley's extensive greenhouses, warehouses, planting, bunching, and packing display were enjoyed by all. This year's theme was "Made in the U.S.A." The many floral designs were entered into four categories, "Roaring 20's," "Retro 40's," "Rock & Roll 50's, 60's & 70's and "Futuristic." The creations were judged by Darlene Montgomery of Redding, CA, Wil Gonzalez of Ukiah and Lily Lum of San Francisco who also demonstrated their floral design skills on stage.

Winners in the four categories were presented with trophies and cash awards by Lane DeVries, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Sun Valley Group.
